Design Guidelines
These are some general guidelines that should be followed by any screen in the Marketing Cloud.
Guidelines
Empty states: Every component should have a meaningful empty state, either a reasonable default choice, or a placeholder instructing the user what to do. For example a dropbox should have the placeholder "Please select an " or a meaningful default selection.
Error messages: Make sure to consider error messages: when and how they appear. If an error happens the user should be informed. Actions should be offered to the user depending on the error type, for example retry or steps they could make to fix the issue.
Use the user’s terms instead of technical terms. Eg. instead of “Email client screen” use “Email preview”
